Tombo Community Demolition

In the Tombo community just outside of Waterloo, Sierra Leone, one hundred families were suddenly displaced when their homes were demolished. The officials said it was done so that the marketplace could be expanded.

George and his wife Finda, and their three children are among those left homeless in the devastation. George has been a member of Calvary Chapel Sierra Leone in Waterloo since it began in January 2013.

An emergency appeal for donations is being made to help them find housing, and to purchase household furnishings and food.
